Ashir Azeem
Ashir Azeem is a dual national, Pakistani-Canadian film and television actor, director, writer and producer famous through Pakistan Television series Dhuwan in 1994. He is also known for Maalik (2016) and Yalghaar (2017).
Ashir Azeem was born in Quetta, Pakistan. Basically he is an aeronautical engineer from Pakistan Air Force and also completed his BBA through Institute of Business Administration IBA, Karachi.
Ashir Azeem joined Central Superior services of Pakistan, during his tenure he wrote a story about Pakistan Armed Forces. As per his colleague advise, he produced a television serial. The serial Dhuwan was based on his story, and was aired on PTV in 1994. He appeared as a lead actor in Dhuwan and with his gripping acting and story he got recognition in the public. Dhuwan became the most popular and favorite TV serial in Pakistan. During past 23 years PTV aired this serial more than 15 times on it, and it always got audience.
Ashir Azeem moved to Canada. In 2015, he announced his debut film Maalik which was written by him in 1993. Film was directed, written and co-produced by Asir Azeem himself and was released on 8 April 2016. In 2017, he appeared in Hassan Rana's film Yalghaar.
He is married with Bushra Ashir Azeem and have two children. He is a Christian by faith.
