Ashley William Griffiths
Ashley William Griffiths was born on May 18th 1984 in Munster, Germany to William and Julie Griffiths. Both parents are of English descent. Ashley has one older sister named Haley. The family left Germany for the UK in 1986 where Ashley spent his childhood in the UK moving around the north western towns of Blackpool, Burnley and Blackburn.
Griffiths started acting at an early age and continued throughout his school and college years, taking part in multiple school productions but never pursued acting as a full time career. He moved to Leeds to attend Leeds Metropolitan University to study Economics and Business. Work commitments took him to DUbai in the middle east in 2010..
In 2015 at the age of 30 Griffiths signed up to attend screen acting classes with mentor Alex Broun. It was during this class that Ashley rediscovered his passion for acting. Griffiths studied for his grade 5 exam with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) earning a distinction. Attending Intensive masterclasses in Dubai with Screenwise founder Denise Roberts as Griffiths continues to further develop his craft. Ashley was cast by Robert Mardini as the lead in the short film 'Adam & Sarah' in 2015. The performance caught the eye of up and coming director Osama Obeidat who was looking to cast the lead role in his upcoming film 'Legacy' shot in 2016.
In his personal life Ashley is happily married to English bridal designer Susanna Rachel Wordsworth, whom he met after university in Leeds, United Kingdom. They married in a private ceremony in Siena, Italy on August 9th 2016. Ashley is a big fan of Chelsea Football Club and tries to attend their games during any visit to the UK.
