An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (Pune), Ashwin has worked in several formats of visual storytelling including Film and Digital. He is known for his work as a Screenwriter and Dialogue Writer for Netflix's popular crime drama 'Jamtara' and the Hindi feature film 'Chakki'. His other work on digital mediums includes amazon miniTV show 'Official CEOgiri', 'Cookiees' on MX player and a drama-comedy miniseries called 'Duck Se Dude' for zee5. One of his original screenplays (a survival-thriller called 'Lambs and Wolves') was the finalist of Mumbai Mantra Screenwriting Lab 2016. The student films he worked on during film school went on to win accolades at many major national film festivals. He is based in Mumbai.
