Austen Moret
Actor, musician, writer, director. It's all story-telling, and for ex-Purdue football player Austen Moret, there's no greater joy than letting those crazy little ideas percolate into something worth telling, no matter the medium.
Though born in Atlanta, GA, Austen spent a large majority of his early life growing up abroad in Switzerland and Canada. Growing up in foreign places inherently exposed him to new cultures, dialects, mannerisms and customs. It wasn't always easy, but the one thing that became universally apparent? Performance and stories reigned supreme, no matter the culture. Human connection was a universal necessity, and it was in that fact that Austen discovered both his passion and drive to create. That and an imagination fueled by a love for films like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Jurassic Park.
As a voice actor, he's found himself regularly working both in the animation and commercial spheres. Most recently in 2020, he was cast as Khaleed on Moonton's wildly popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. He's also been the voice on countless US national (and global) commercial campaigns for clients like Apple, Starbucks, Capitol Records, Fidelity and more.
As a songwriter, music producer and mixer, his work has been featured in TV shows like Showtime's Shameless, TNT's Animal Kingdom, and MTV's Teen Mom, to name a few. His band Midnight Divide, for which he writes, produces and mixes, is a local L.A. staple in the indie/alt rock scene, with national touring under their belts, and millions of digital streams to their credit.
Austen works as a full-time VO actor and music producer out of his studio in Hollywood. He's currently working on a sci-fi trilogy with a focus on the intimacy of the human experience, juxtaposed on an intergalactic war-torn backdrop.
