Axel Gallois
Axel Gallois is a French actor and former Opera singer. Born and raised in Paris with an Italian mother, he studied and lived in the US, in Rome, Paris and speaks Italian and English fluently. Recently, he had a part in a french-play at the festival of Avignon and also participated in several acting projects and short movies. For the past three years, he has spent time developing his acting skills with Jack Waltzer, a member of the Actors Studio, who teaches a method based on the Stanislavsky system. More than ten years ago, Before becoming an actor he was working for a big financial company. He completed his Masters at the Sorbonne and had the chance to live in the US for 2 years. Upon returning, he realised his calling was not in finance but on the stage. It was a turning point in his life and he threw himself into this new world. He started to learn how to sing opera, his acting began, and then, as a tenor, he toured France with many productions on stage. For many years he has been working on his vocal technique through opera singing. He also covers different singing styles. Over time, his interests developed and evolved more towards acting, especially method acting. he then had the chance to meet Jack Waltzer, who studied and worked for many years with Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Sanford Meinser and other great actors and teachers that created the Actors studio and he has been working with him regularly for the past 3 years. He loves languages and have been working more recently on his English pronunciation by doing the Tomatis method. 6 months ago He decided to go and live in Rome to improve his Italian, learn more about the Italian culture and work there as an actor. He is now living in London and wants to emulate what he has done in Paris and Rome. His aim is to be working in London and landing more English speaking roles.
