Ayinde Blake
Ayinde Blake is a classically trained actor based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His love of performance was fostered by his fifth grade teacher, who introduced him to the works of Shakespeare in the form of the annual school play. As a child, his wonderment and imagination ran wild spending time watching Star Trek: The Next Generation (Ayinde's parents were Trekkies); with Sir Patrick Stewart leaving an impressionable influence in his life and pursuit of a career in the arts. Ayinde attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts, where he majored in Musical Theatre. He continued his education at the Ryerson Theatre School, graduating with a BFA in Performance Acting. From there he sought film and television training over the years from David Rotenberg, Lynne Cormack, and David Richmond-Peck. Notable works and appearances include "Murdoch Mysteries" as the town gossip Edwin Thornberg, "Kim's Convenience", and "Masters In Crime" co-starring alongside fellow Ryerson Theatre School alum Mena Massoud (Aladdin, Jack Ryan, Reprisal).
