New York is not only known for its famous hot wings, its historical museums, and its beautiful One World Observatory where you can see the skyline and the stars from high above, but it is also the "City of Dreams", and the place where rising star B. Danielle Watkins began her journey. B. Danielle Watkins, best-selling author, international award-winning filmmaker, and actress is a native of Buffalo, New York. Watkins is on top of her game, rapidly paving her way to success with her many accomplishments.
B. Danielle began laying the groundwork for her career at the age of nine, and by the age of 15, Watkins had her first poem published in the "Poetry Gems Collection", presented by the Famous Poets Society. In 2011 her first of 5 novels were published, and by 2013 she'd be introduced to writing film. Taking her career to the next level Ms. Watkins became the first and only African American filmmaker to write, produce, and star in a REVRY original series, "3030". Starting at the end of 2020, Watkins added another amazing title under her belt, becoming the Chief Programmer as well as Long Form Content Coordinator for the new, black LGBTQ+ led and centered television network iElevate +TV. As of 2023, B. Danielle Watkins has her sights set on becoming not only one of the hottest sought-after screenwriters but a media mogul with her acceptance of the role of Vice President of Media and Film for the television network TGO Tv out of Las Vegas.
A graduate of the HBCU Winston Salem State University and The Los Angeles Film School, and a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. B.
