Bruce McIntosh
Bruce McIntosh was born in Boston and raised in Connecticut. A graduate of Antioch College, he trained as an actor at The Neighborhood Playhouse in NY with William Alderson, and in LA with Ron Burrus and Charles Conrad. He was a member of the Met Theatre Workshop headed by Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, Holly Hunter, and a member of the Strasberg Playwrights Group. Nominated for a Helen Hayes Award in Outstanding Lead Actor Category for "Fixin' To Die: A visit to the mind of Lee Atwater", by Robert Myers, directed by George Furth. He is author of numerous produced plays and several independent features. Resides in Taos, NM where he founded Metta Theatre which works with at risk youth in schools and Juvenile Detention. Most recent stage appearance in lead role/premiere of "Unmanned" by Robert Myers, and recently completed work in recurring role in upcoming "Get Shorty" TV series.
