Bryn Vale
Bryn Vale recently starred as "Maddie" opposite Taylor Schilling, Kate McKinnon and Brian Tyree Henry in "Family," which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival and AFIfest. The film follows Maddie, an awkward adolescent, who tries to run away from home to become a Juggalo (fans of the group Insane Clown Posse), and the emotionally-stunted Aunt Kate (Schilling) who is tasked with watching her for the week. She also recently performed as 'Scout,' a character with serious emotional challenges, in Max Amini's forthcoming feature film, "James the Second." Bryn's most recent film is "Home" directed by Franka Potente of "The Bourne Identity" with co-stars Kathy Bates and Jake McLaughlin.
Bryn was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. By age 9 she earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, winning numerous gold and silver medals in regional and national competitions. In 2015 she traveled to Italy to star in award-winning Italian director's Giacomo Arrigoni's films, the comedy "War Time Falcon" and then the narrated "I Am Cortona." Her other credits include playing Louise Suggs, the LPGA founder and golf legend, in the award-winning documentary "The Founders" which screened at the Toronto, Venice, Edinburgh, Atlanta and other film festivals. Bryn loves spending time with her 3 rescue dogs and her cat, downhill skiing, ice skating and ice hockey. She also supports an orphaned baby elephant who was rescued in southern Kenya.
