Byron McIntyre
Actor, Dancer, Model and Athlete Byron McIntyre was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His love of dancing came early and he continued to perform through his high school years. He put his dancing on hold when Utah State University recruited him to play football on a full scholarship. A neck injury during practice stopped what would have been a brilliant NFL career.
Byron came back to Los Angeles and was immediately cast in several commercials for Miller Genuine Draft. Filming the commercials in Alaska and Hawaii peaked Byron's interest in acting.
On television, Byron portrayed diverse characters and his regional theatre credits include Picnic and playing the gambler in Guys and Dolls both directed by Michael Millnor.
Byron made his feature film debut in _Guarding Eddie (2004)_ (qv directed by Scott McKinsey and can be seen in _Red Sky (2014) _ and Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant (2015).
Byron received national recognition as the lead break dancer in the Music Video, Days Go By, performed by Dirty Vegas. The music video received the Best Dance Video nomination for the MTV Video Music Awards and also received a Grammy Nomination for Best Short Form Video. The producers of the Teen Choice Awards asked Byron to reprise his performance in the opening number and the award show aired on the FOX network.
