DJ Hazard
DJ Hazard was born in the Bronx, New York. He also lived in Astoria, Queens, New York and attended the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan.
In 1979 DJ Hazard became one of the founding members of Boston's infamous Ding Ho Comedy Club, whose members included Steven Wright, Bobcat Goldthwait, Paula Poundstone and Denis Leary. The Ding Ho was the inspiration of comedian/writer Barry Crimmins, who became general manager and booking agent, while Hazard took on the duties of assistant manager and creative director. Hazard became one of the top comedians in the Boston scene.
In 1995, he refitted a 1985 Nissan Stanza Hatchback and took off to tour nearly all of North America, living in his car when not provided accommodations. He did this for three years before returning to Boston.
In 2005, he returned to New York City to act and write. He has performed in over a dozen movies and has written four books.
