Damaris Diaz
Born in Brooklyn, New York to Elvin and Daisy Diaz, Damaris has always showed an interest in acting. At the age of 11, her family moved from New York to Florida where she began to attend classes with the Barbizon Model and Talent Centers. In 2006, Damaris went with Barbizon to an International Model and Talent Association (IMTA)Convention in Los Angeles. She won a few of the competitions in her division, including first place for TV Close Up along with an acting scholarship for Hines and Hunt Entertainment. In the summer of 2007 and 2008, Damaris performed in several community theater plays including Hansel and Gretel, and The Little Mermaid where she took the lead role. After graduating from high school in June 2009, she moved to Los Angeles, California so she could pursue her acting career. In July 2009, Damaris met with managers Jaymee Locke and Karen Kusnitz. She soon after met with AEF talent agency and started going on numerous auditions. In 2010, Damaris booked her first supporting role in Terence Huestons short film, Maddoggin'. A year later, she booked a series regular role for the FOX pilot 'Family Album'. Damaris continues to study at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts (AIDA), and Tess Kirsch Acting Studio.
