Damon Burks

Damon Burks grew up in Water Valley Miss. His most recent roles were in Bastard's Crossing which won best Mississippi Feature film at the Oxford, MS Film Festival. Texas Red, If these porches could talk and Son of a Gun are now on Amazon Prime. Damon is a volunteer for the Oxford Film Festival as Documentary Coordinator and Executive Producer of the 2020 award winning film festival short SAG film The Golden Years. Damon won an award for Volunteer of the year from the Oxford film Festival 2019. Damon is also a Producer on two feature films in post production, The Wilderness Road and Tales of the Natchez Trace. Being a cancer survivor and in remission his focus is on volunteering and helping others and enjoys the positive teamwork of the film industry and people involved.
