Dan Parr
Dan grew up just outside of Manchester, and later moved to London to attend The Arts Educational Schools, where he received a 1st Class BA hons degree in Acting.
As a professional, over the last decade, Dan has worked consistently throughout the creative industry. His visual work spans across theatre, TV and film, and his voice work across radio, commercials, audio drama and TV commentary.
Dans theatre work includes Gareth Farr's 'Britannia Waves The Rules' at The Royal Exchange Manchester for which he was Nominated for Best Actor at The Manchester Theatre Awards, Jim Cartwright's 'Road' at The Royal Court directed by John Tiffany, Lyndsey Turners 'Hamlet' at The Barbican alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and notably played Romeo in Amy Leach's Romeo and Juliet at West Yorkshire Playhouse, which received 5 star reviews.
On Screen he has worked for the BBC in dramas such as The Village, The Musketeers, Silent Witness and The Crimson Fields, where he played opposite Suranne Jones, and starred as Teddy Smith in British independent films, The Rise of The Krays and The Fall of The Krays
Dan's voice can be heard on TV and Radio, advertising the new Tesco Club Card Plus, underscored by the one and only Cilla Black! He also recently worked with Manchester United and Tezos to announce their new partnership on a social media campaign along side Cristiano Ronaldo! He has also voiced on projects with, The FA, Visit Britain, Tesco Pet Insurance, CAT Construction, AMEX, BBC and can be heard commentating on Channel 5 TV series 'It's Your Fault I'm Fat' and 'Great British Rivers: Then & Now'.
