Daniel Ek

Daniel Ek is Spotify's founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the board of directors. As Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Mr. Ek is responsible for guiding the vision and strategy of the Company and leading the management team. Prior to founding Spotify in 2006, Mr. Ek founded Advertigo, an online advertising company acquired by Tradedoubler, held various senior roles at the Nordic auction company Tradera, which was acquired by eBay, and served as Chief Technology Officer at Stardoll, a fashion and entertainment community for pre-teens.
