Daniel Jillings
Daniel was born in Oldham, Greater Manchester. In 2002, he became the youngest serving Police Officer in Greater Manchester Police, aged just 19 years old. He went on to enjoy 10 years as a frontline Police Officer.
Whilst still serving as a Police Officer, Daniel appeared in THE NEWSPAPER BOY alongside Suranne Jones where he worked closely with Mark Hudson, which led to a place at the Manchester School of Acting to hone his skills.
Daniel resigned from Greater Manchester Police to concentrate on his acting career in 2013 and has enjoyed a successful and varied career ever since. Television Credits include: FOUR LIVES directed by David Blair (BBC), Series regular DC Will Gibbons in PREY series 1 and 2 (Red Productions), PC Darren Brody in CORONATION STREET (ITV), Billy Parker in HOLLYOAKS (Lime Pictures for Channel 4), Chris Heyworth in CASUALTY (BBC), and recurring roles on Doctors (BBC).
Film roles include: ENEMY LINES (Happy Hour Productions) with director Anders Banke. He stars alongside Ed Westwick, John Hannah and Tom Wisdom.
Between acting roles, Daniel is also the Co-Founder of the Children's Bereavement Charity 'Once Upon a Smile', a cause he is extremely passionate about.
