In the early 1970s, a new aspiration re-routed Mr. Simone's career. Under the tutelage of the novelist, Norman Mailer, Mr. Simone wrote politically-charged editorials for The Village Voice In the '80's, he developed real estate and formed a famous restaurant in partnership with the actress/dancer, Chita Rivera. It was located in the Broadway District of New York City.In the early 2000, he ghost-wrote biographies of two prominent female actors. Specialties: Narrative Non-Fiction genre', Ghostwriting, teaching dramatic writing, authoring famous crime books. In 2009, Mr. Simone created and wrote a monthly feature in LONG ISLAND PULSE magazine titled,between the lines. Occasionally, he writes for the celebrity column Who's here in Dans papers, a weekly publication based in the Hamptons region of Long Island. Mr. Simone was also a celebrity profile contributor for The Boulvard magazine. Daniel Simone is a specialist at writing non-fiction subjects in a novel-like fashion. This genre' is called narrative non-fiction, invented by the great author, Truman Capote, a technique he mastered while writing his magnum opus, IN COLD BLOOD. In collaboration with the late Henry Hill, Mr. Simone recently completely a book titled, The Lufthansa heist, Daniel Simone completed an explosive and controversial book based on the Charles Manson case and the Sharon Tate murder. It will be chock full of never-before-told facts of stunning revelations contradicting all that is known about Charles Manson and his alleged involvement in the Tate/LaBianca slaughters. Antoinette Giancana and Daniel Simone completed a book about her father, Sam, and his involvement in the rise and fall of JFK. Mr. Simone resides principally in Palm Beach, Fla.
