Daniel Tadesse
Shortly after being born, Daniel was abandoned by his biological parents. A series of different relatives stepped in to care for his welfare. As a consequence Daniel grew up moving from home to home while dreaming of becoming an actor. Everything changed in 2004 when he got his first big break, he was casted as the leading man in the popular "Ye leb esat" theatre company. He would go on to perform in over 12 plays and eventually 15 films, making Daniel a public figure as well as a local "landmark" in the trendy Piazza district of Addis-Ababa.
Miguel Llansó casted him first for the short "Where is my dog?" (2010) and then for a second short "Chigger Ale" (2013). Miguel would later count him in for the lead role in his debut feature "Crumbs" (2015), a film that transformed Daniel into a cult sensation. "Jesus Shows you the Way to the Highway" is their fourth collaboration together.
