Nathaniel "Don Mac" Johnson was born in New Orleans Louisiana to Sylvia and Nathaniel Willie Johnson. At a young age Don moved 25 minutes north of the city to the suburban area of Slidell La. Don graduated from Slidell High school in 1993 and then attended Southern University of Baton Rouge. After a year he transferred to The Art Institute of Houston to pursue a career in music. After graduation Don moved back home and worked several different jobs until he discovered the world of acting as "Hollywood South" began to take root in Louisiana. After working on set in various movie and T.V. projects shot in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge area, Don made his first television debut on the 2010 season 5 of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" (Gene Gets Punked). Director James Gunn later cast Don in his first major film roll as Mr. Range in the movie "Super" shot in Shreveport La.
