Proud native of East Aurora, NY and graduate of Hamilton College with BA degree (History and German). Spent 30 years in New York City in variety of sales/marketing positions in textile/apparel/fiber industry with extensive international travel. Moved back to East Aurora to join family business -- Vidler's 5 & 10 -- the largest five and dime store in the world until proven otherwise! The store is a regional destination and has appeared in several Christmas movies and been featured in national publications including Martha Stewart's Living and Business Week. Life-long and long suffering fan of Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, and not quite as long-suffering with the New York Mets. Named 2016 Tourism Executive of the Year by Visit Buffalo Niagara tourism bureau.
