Doris Collier
Doris Collier is from Orlando, Florida but is living in the great state of Tennessee where she is married to a physician. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology & Social Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
Doris is an actress and producer known for her work in The Borrowed Christmas, The Colors of Emily, The Act of Contrition, 94 Feet, The Reins Maker, Saving Faith and The Dream Motel. Doris is also a co-writer for The Reins Maker. She has completed numerous acting workshops with LA producers. Doris's love for acting began at an early age. She dreamt about pursing her dream and God has opened up the door for her to do something she loves.
In her free time she enjoys making movies, traveling, reading, meeting new people, and spending time with her family. Doris is the owner and CEO of her own international company where she has received several business awards.
Her favorite quote is by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, "The Most Beautiful People we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggles, known loss, and have found their way of out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful People don't just happen."
Doris is also a motivational speaker and she tells people, "Just over the hill is a beautiful valley, but you must climb the hill to see it!"
