Duncan Bridgeman
Duncan Bridgeman is a double Grammy nominated filmmaker and musician. born in London to Leslie and Zena Bridgeman.
Bridgeman has composed and produced music for 20 years, working on a diverse musical journey. His first break into filmmaking came from Island Records/Palm Pictures owner Chris Blackwell, making the Grammy nominated cult hit 1 Giant Leap. In 2004, Simon Fuller of 19 Entertainment funded second 1 Giant Leap, film titled "What about me?". Bridgeman quickly followed with the award winning film Hecho en Mexico, funded by Mexican media mogul Bernardo Gomez. Most recently Bridgeman directed and produced the East Meets West, a documentary film for The Smithsonian Institution about the Kumbh Mela, largest Hindu festival on the planet, with actor Dominic West (The Wire) as presenter.
