Dustin Doan
Dustin Doan was born in Dallas, TX and is best known as a film actor. His acting experiences began in local theater during multiple productions such as "A Women's Intuition", opposite David Ruffin, Jr. and "The Waiting Game", of which he earned the lead role after initially being cast as the understudy. He was quickly approached by several talent agents, and signed with one in order to try his hand in the commercial and film industries. While landing multiple projects in both fields he gradually gravitated towards film, deeming it as "what acting is all about". He steadily continues advanced training courses in acting methods and fight choreography to hone some of his favorite skill sets. While filming his first scheduled fight scene in the 2015 film "Proud Souls", he was actually struck by another actor and obtained a broken rib. Although painful and uncomfortable, Dustin continued shooting for the final 3 weeks of principal photography in order to complete the additional 5 fight scenes scheduled for his character. He was later interviewed about this incident in which he responded "we can't take a long pause in our filming schedule just because of a broken bone, it is our responsibility as actors on this team to finish the show as intended". Clearly proving that this individual will not let happenstance stand in his way, which was then reiterated on the set of the 2015 film "The Cliff". While filming a scene in which was directed to chase down a robbery suspect on foot, their choreographed fight resulted in a landed strike to his mouth causing his teeth to actually break through the skin and he begin bleeding profusely! The director yelled "Cut!" Dustin's immediate response was "no way! Let's keep shooting, we have real blood!" These real life, on set examples show his determination to stay in character and finish projects no matter what unforeseen variables occur. Dustin additionally stays active in other fields of his immense passion for the arts-writing screenplays, poetry and song lyrics.
