Ebin Antony
Born in Kerala, India, Ebin started participating in dance competitions and school plays when he was ten. He was inspired by the professional work of actors like Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal. He was also a gifted soccer player, rising to the position of school captain and winning a sports scholarship to Hindustan University in Chennai, India, where he studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. While at university, Ebin also worked as a voice-over artist in over 100 cartoons and movies. It was his first professional gig.
Ebin was forced to keep his acting ambitions on hold when he moved to the United States to pursue his Master's Degree in Systems Engineering at the University of Missouri, Rolla. After graduation, he took a position as project engineer with a processing plant in New Orleans, where he currently makes his home.
It was a visit to Los Angeles and attending a workshop organized by the New York Film Academy that motivated Ebin to once again pursue his acting ambitions. He was also mentored by world renowned acting coaches Tim Phillips and Larry Moss. He even used some of his soccer training to influence his acting regimen. As he says, "You don't just train the day before a match, you constantly train."
