Eddie Beveridge
Edward Conrad Beveridge was born in 1989 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Ed Beveridge, a mechanic and automotive expert, and Jayne Foster (Beveridge). He grew up a distinguished athlete - his parents were both born and raised in Pittsburgh. He is of Scottish, Irish, and German descent.
In 2015 Beveridge, who's acting experience consisted only of some limited stage work done during his time in college as well as directing work for classmates, was cast in Outsiders (2016) - a television show starring David Morse and being produced by Paul Giamatti and Peter Tolan. The show, created by Peter Mattei told the story of the Farrell's - a large family, living off the grid for over 200 years in the mountains of Kentucky and beyond the workings of society, who's way of life is threatened by a coal company looking to profit from mining their land.
Beveridge did not even have head shots at the time he was cast on the show. He was able to impress the producers and director Rosemary Rodriguez with his audition, enough so for her to feel confident in casting him. Beveridge did not disappoint and his presence on the show was felt immediately by the production and fans alike. His ability to work with Morse, a veteran actor of stage, film, and television did not go unnoticed eventually leading to a series regular spot. In spite of the fact that nearly 100 people auditioned for the role of Phil'up he would later find out it was created with him in mind.
The show enjoyed a strong start for WGN America and became the most successful in the history of the network.
Beveridge is the eldest of the three children which includes a sister, Lena, and brother, Johnny.
