Édouard Kersley Guillaume (Eddie G) was born on November 14, 1983 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of a Registered Nurse, mother, and an Elementary School Teacher, Father. After graduating from High School, Eddie took drama classes on the side and enrolled at Algonquin College, in Print Media. Meanwhile, he found his first talent agent and proved himself for representation in TV/Film roles.
Eddie is an interdisciplinary artist with over a decade's work within the entertainment and music industry. The Ottawa native has worked extensively in the U.S., gaining recognition for roles on multiple networks such as CBC, CTV, NBC, BET, Lifetime, Hallmark, Bravo, Crave, Investigation Discovery, Freeform & more.
He has shared the screen with stars like Kate Boseworth and was cast by Oscar-Winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. to be his co-star in the film "Sacrifice" (2013). He has starred in shows like "Taken" (2017) , "The Bold Type" (2017) and the award winning series "19-2"(2017), it won best dramatic series at Canadian Screen Awards in 2016.
He is a series regular on the new hit show, "Transplant" (2020), which debuted as the most-watched Canadian series as well as most-watched in its prime time slot when premiering on NBC. After a successful first season, season 2 has been green-lit and set to start production late 2020 / early 2021. Eddie G will soon star in the biopic "Salt n Pepa", which is set to premiere on Lifetime in 2021.
Eddie has additionally made a successful debut into the music industry as a hip-hop artist, songwriter, and producer under the artist name "Erupt". His album, "Law of Attraction" can be streamed on all digital platforms.
