Elaina Garrity
Elaina Garrity is an SF Bay Area-based actress, model, singer, and voiceover artist. She holds a BA in Acting from SFSU, minored in marketing, and is a classically-trained vocalist. Born in Walnut Creek, California, she was raised by her Mexican-American mother and her Irish-American father, along with her older brother and younger sister. She was exceedingly shy as a child, but her love of dance (ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern), led to her involvement in regional theatre productions, performing in musical theatre, straight plays, Shakespearean works, and into film projects during college.
After excelling in, and graduating, college, with mainstage university roles and several blackbox theatre roles to her credit, Elaina was immediately cast as Shelly in "Buried Child" at the Magic Theatre, where Sam Shepard famously got his start. She was nominated for a SF Bay Area Theatre Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work as Shelly, and continued with The Magic to play Sally in "A Lie of The Mind" for the following season. She then signed with MDT Agency and began working more commercially, modeling, in the indie circuit, and being seen on Discovery Channel, Lifetime TV, and prime-time Sekai Gyoten in Japan.
