Kid Moxie is the musical moniker of Greek born, LA-based composer and musician, Elena Charbila. A blend of powerful beats, noir pop melodies, and haunting soundscapes make Kid Moxie's music both ethereal and engrossing. Her musical collaborations are diverse and unexpected, from indie upstarts like Gaslamp Killer to the legendary Angelo Badalamenti, with whom she created a new version of "Mysteries of Love," originally recorded with David Lynch and Julee Cruise on the classic "Blue Velvet" soundtrack. Kid Moxie released her most recent album "Better Than Electric" which earned a number of critical nods. LA Weekly calling it "retro-futuristic goodness", American Songwriter saying "KM mixes synths, lust and love", while CNN mentioning her as a female composer worthy of Oscar attention. She is also the composer behind the recently revamped Orion/MGM Pictures logo as well as currently scoring the TV show "Milky Way" directed by Cannes award winning director Vassilis Kekatos. In addition to her own personal albums, she contributed several tracks to video game sensation "Cyberpunk 2077", and released a soundtrack via Lakeshore Entertainment for the movie "Not To Be Unpleasant But We Need to Have A Serious Talk". Kid Moxie's tracks have received substantial international airplay, been featured on hit TV shows, indie films and in international brand campaigns. Her tracks have premiered on Entertainment Weekly, Vogue, Stereogum, Noisey and many more influential publications and websites.
