Eliza Cortez

Eliza Cortez began her professional career as a model at the age of 8, working with some of the worlds most famous photographers throughout Europe and Asia. Her unique look (a product of her Spanish, Mediterranean, and Asian heritage) quickly brought her to the attention of film and television producers in France, the UK, the Philippines, and Japan, and soon she was gracing the small screen in commercial ad spots worldwide. As she grew into adulthood, Eliza made the decision to leave her professional persona behind for a while and further her education. Now, with that out of the way, she has once again hit the international arena, and, while still an in demand model, she is now pursuing her acting full time, studying her craft with some of the best couches in Los Angeles, and looking for roles that will best suite her accent and her fiery on screen passions. Casting agents have compared her to Selma Hayek and Penelope Cruz, and while she admires those great women very much, Eliza has a force all her own, and a professional attitude that she hopes will take her far in the US entertainment industry.
