Elizabeth originated the role of Rockaway Rosie in Stephen Adly Guirgis's Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven at the Atlantic Theater Company/LAByrinth Theater directed by John Ortiz. Liz played Laurie in, Dominique Morisseau's Pipeline at Lincoln Center Theater directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz. She originated the role of Detective Audrey O'Connor in the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Between Riverside and Crazy, by Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Austin Pendleton at The Atlantic Theater Company and 2nd Stage. Elizabeth also originated the role of Mary Jane Hanrahan in, Jesus Hopped the A Train, (East 13th Street NYC, Edinburgh Theater Festival, The Donmar Warehouse, and The Arts Theater (West End London), Marcia in, Our Lady of 121st Street, (Union Square Theater) and Justine in, The Little Flower of East Orange (The Public Theater, NYC). She was Fabiana Aziza Cunningham in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at the Public Theater, NYC. All shows were directed by the Academy Award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and written by award winning playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis.
