Erik Johansson
Erik Johansson was born in the Stockholm suburb of Enskede on February 23, 1979 as Nils Erik Åkerblom. His father is George Johansson, the Swedish author of the books "Freddy Fixer Builds a Car" and "Chessman".
Erik trained at the "Malmö Theatre Academy" from 2001 to 2005.
He is married to costume assistant and makeup artist My Ek and has a son, Axel Åkerblom, from a previous relationship.
In 1994, Erik won his first role playing Benny in the TV series, Bert (1994), before portraying Garntomte, giving life to the elf, one of the Christmas ornaments in 24 episodes of Julens hjältar (1999). He joined the cast of the series Eva & Adam (1999) in 1999, where he played Torbjörn "Tobbe" Strömdahl, Eva's elder brother, until the end of the series in 2000.
Following a number of assorted roles throughout the 2000s, in 2014 Erik joined the cast of the Swedish political drama Blå ögon (2014) where he played the terrorist Gustav Åkerlund, until the end of the series in 2015. That same year he joined the cast of the sunset of theater Kom igen, Charlie where he played the pastor David Marschall Lee, a man dedicated to his wife Catherine Simms (Susanne Thorson), but who also secretly belongs to the Ku Klux Klan.
During 2017-2018 Erik can be seen playing Patrik in Bonusfamiljen (2017), a drama series exploring the complexities of relationships in modern family life.
