Esin Varan has Turkish, Armenian, Greek and Ashkenazi Jewish ancestries. She is a bilingual actress speaking both English and Turkish fluently. She also spoke fluent Arabic and Farsi for 2 movies. She started her career as a child actress, received her acting training both in Turkey and in New York at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts with a merit scholarship. She also studied International Relations and Political Science. She played 'Titania' in the original cast of the world premiere of Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane's play 'FairyCakes'. She gained respect as a screen actor through many movies, including in comedy and drama even in horror genre.
