Estefania Piñeres
Estefanía Piñeres is a Colombian actress and screenwriter known for her role in Netflix's Original "Wild District" (2019) and her performance in Gael García Bernal's "El Aula Vacía" (2015), "Mamá También" (2013) and "2091" (2016). As a writer, she has won some of Colombia's most prestigious awards in several occasions: 2017 New Media Award for Development for "Misteriosa"; 2018 Ministry of Culture Scholarship for Family Feature Film for "Chocó"; 2018 FDC (National Cinematographic Development Fund) for Development of Animated Feature for "Chocó"; 2020 FDC for Production of Animated Short for "Color-ido"; and 2020 FDC for Feature Screenplay for "Los malditos", and has received recognitions abroad in competitions such as the Estudio Pitch by Ánima Estudios and Pixelatl or Diverse Voices by WeScreenplay.
