Evelyn Sims

Evelyn Sims has grown up near Gordons Bay, NSW - playing with crabs, avoiding sting rays, catching waves and hopping across rocks. She currently has two cats, a goldfish and a part-time dog but previously had chickens, guinea pigs, mice and an axolotl. Her dream is to become either a vet or a doctor. (Her favourite TV shows are Gray's Anatomy and Bondi Vet). Attending a Steiner school in Sydney, she loves science, maths and debating, as well as gardening, baking, dancing, gymnastics, horse riding and playing soccer. Both her parents are film and TV directors - her mum, Samantha Lang has lived and worked in France, U.S and Australia and her Dad, Jeremy Sims has made iconic Aussie films as well as being an admired stage actor. So Evelyn 'Evie' is well practised in both performing and making stories for the screen. She is also a great traveller - whether catching planes or pitching a tent - she has been around Australia, to Cambodia, Japan, Italy, France and the U.K.
