Eyra Aguero Joubert
Eyra Agüero Joubert is a Puertorrican actress with Dominican parents, completed Studies in Theater, Audiovisual Communications and Portuguese at the Río Piedras campus of the University of Puerto Rico. Subsequently, she completed acting workshops for Theater, Film and Television in Puerto Rico as well as Mexico, Ecuador, and in Brazil with Augusto Boal of the Theater of the Oppressed movement. Currently, Agüero Joubert works at the local TV station WAPA, playing a number of characters for the shows "Sunshine Remix", "Risas en Combo" and "Pégate al Mediodía". Her work as an actor in local full-length features includes the titles "Imprisoned", "Broche de Oro, el Comienzo", "Sanky Panky 3", ¿"Quién eres tú"?, "El Chata", "Extraterrestres", "Miente", "América" and "El Hombre que cuida" . She also appeared in the short film "Si no está roto", and lead in the Music Videos "Robin Hood" from Tego Calderon and "¿Dónde está el amor? from Wisin & Yandel Ft. Franco de Vita. Since 2006, she is a founding member of the musical group Las BatuChicas, where she is also a Percussionist Musician.
