J.R. Craig
J.R. Craig is a third generation Southern California native, who grew up surfing, skateboarding, and playing football. Aspirations to become a professional football player were cut short due to injuries. J.R. took to acting, and landed several significant roles right out of the gate. In order to understand his craft, he moved to New York to study under renowned teachers from the schools Uta Hagen, Stanislavski, Stella Adler, and Meisner. He brought his theatre training back home with him to L.A, where he was a founding member of the theatre company Bluesphere Alliance with Anthony Barnao, Matt Lillard, and Neve Campbell in Hollywood.
J.R.'s passion shows in every role that he takes on. One time his leg was mistakenly sliced by a 12 inch knife while on stage in the role of an invincible Vietnam soldier. During intermission, he dressed the wound himself backstage and then finished the play.
Taking a break from Los Angeles, J.R. moved to Tennessee and enjoyed life down South for a while. After eight years, he returned back to Hollywood, older and wiser. Since his return, J.R. hasn't stopped making his living as an actor. You can see him playing a wide range of characters on TV, film, and in commercials.
