J.T. Robinson
Jesse Theodore (JT) Robinson was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1987. He was then adopted and moved to the United States, in 1988. His father is a maintenance engineer and his mother is a primary school teacher. Both are retired.
JT was given the opportunity to grow up in the United States and the United Kingdom. He found his love of acting at the age of 5 when he began performing in many primary school shows. He began studying at Purdue University as a business major. From there, he decided to continue his acting passion by dropping out of business school and pursuing a degree in acting. After finishing his 2nd year at Purdue University's Theatre Program, he decided to move back to the United Kingdom to finish his drama degree. In 2011, he graduated with Joint BA Honours from the University of Kent, at Canterbury, where he studied English and Drama.
After pursuing independent work within the film and theatre industries, he decided to return to drama school, in 2013. Jesse attended a multitude of courses at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and finished with Distinction in Shakespeare Studies, in 2014.
In 2016, JT moved to Los Angeles to further pursue a film career. He then reconnected with a former classmate, and friend, Jhan Harp. From 2016-2017, he had the wonderful opportunity to work in a TV series, a short film, and a web series.
In 2017, JT was cast in his first major feature film, The Nightmare Gallery, directed by Gene Blalock, and produced by Jhan Harp. The film stars Amber Benson.
In 2019, JT was cast in The Orpheus Protocol. Season 1, Episode 1 aired on 1 May 2019, on YouTube.
The Nightmare Gallery is expecting a theatrical release, later in 2019.
JT continues to pursue film/TV/web series opportunities in LA.
