Jack O'Brien
Jack was born in Brisbane, Australia on September 24th, 1991. He has been an actor on stage and screen since 2001. He recently portrayed the famously conflicted Moritz Stiefel in the globally acclaimed rock musical "Spring Awakening" at Brisbane's La Boite Theatre. He invented bold new characters for Anywhere Theatre Festival's "One Black Mark" and stepped into the shoes of evil boy-band dunce, Frank, in the funky new musical "Funk Midas".
Jack first studied drama at St Laurences' College along with private diploma courses at Trinity College. He eventually graduated with Distinction in Individual Acting Skills, the best in QLD for 2008. Jack is due to complete his Bachelor of Applied Theatre (Griffith University) this year. During his short career, Jack has had the privilege of working with esteemed actors such as Daniel Evans, Brian Lucas, Lucas Stibbard, Cymbeline Buhlar and Linda Hassall.
When Jack isn't entertaining a crowd, he enjoys writing, travelling, playing ukulele, reading comic books and yelling in horror at the latest Walking Dead episode. He is looking forward to being the lead in many feature films and being a headlining stand-up comedian.
