Jack Trout
American actor and master fly fisherman Jack Trout was born July 31, 1967 in Portola, California. He is known for his work in the Hollywood thriller Peter Five Eight (March 2024), the ten-episode series The Offer (2022), and the PBS documentary The Sacramento River of Life narrated by Peter Coyote (2005). Between 1996 and 2008, he appeared on ESPN Outdoors, Outdoor Life Network, Fly Fishing Video Magazine, A Taste for Adventure and Charlie West Outdoors. Other works include being featured in the television show Tom Stienstra Great Outdoors presented by Barbary Coast Productions (2010). Jack also appeared in two commercials: the Atlantic/Land Rover Defender-Go Outside with John Mayer and John Mayer Knows Computer Lingo. Jack Trout is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG/AFTRA) and an active member of the Shasta Film Commission in Northern California. Jack will have his first co-role as associate producer and actor in the upcoming film The Lemurian Candidate (2024). When he's not involved in acting-related activities, you can find him on a river with his best pup Trinity helping people connect with themselves through nature.
