Jacob Motsinger
Jacob Motsinger was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in Slater, IA. He graduated from Ballard High School in 2005, where he was involved in Football, Wrestling, Soccer, Concert Band, Jazz Band, National Honor Society, and Drama. This is where Jacob got his first taste of the stage.
After graduation, he attended Luther College in Decorah, IA, where he majored in pre-medicine. After his first semester of college, Jacob auditioned for Barbizon-Royal, a talent agency. Jacob was accepted into their program and participated in acting and modeling lessons.
In the summer of 2006, Jacob traveled to New York to compete against approximately 3,000 other actors, models, dancers, and singers, in categories such as sitcom, commercial, soap, and cold reading. Barbizon-Royal awarded him Actor of the Year, which was the talent agency's pick of the best actor that they brought to New York. Jacob also won 3rd Runner up in the IMTA Actor of the Year Competition. From there Jacob made the decision to postpone his education and moved to Los Angeles in October of that year.
Growing up in a blended family of eleven children, Jacob learned at an early age that acting cute and telling jokes got him a lot of attention. Through the support and encouragement of his family, Jacob has taken his "act" to a whole new level.
