Julian Maroun
Julian Maroun is promptly assembling an extensive amalgam of distinct credits in film and television. With no formal training and beginning with a feature film debut in Alex Proyas directed epic Gods of Egypt, he would earn his proficiency as an actor under the practical wisdom of the Australian Television industry, with appearances in Cleverman, Catching Milat, Deep Water, Janet King. His eventual break-out came with two contrasting network series in the same year. With leading roles in Foxtel's Fighting Season and in the Logie Award winning Romper Stomper (Best Mini Series). After living abroad in Los Angeles, Julian returned to appear in supporting roles in Australian Gangster, Diary of an Uber Driver, Harrow Series 3, and as a member of the cast in the final season of the critically acclaimed Mr Inbetween . Most recently, he has portrayed Guest Star "Detective Darren Nasser" in Home and Away.
Julian's work in film includes the French/Australian co-production Slam, a feature directed by Partho Sen-Gupta and the soon to be released animation Mia and Me: the Hero of Centopia as the voice of 'King Nino'. Julian recently completed work on the Matt Nable written and directed feature Transfusion.
