Julie Guevara
Julie Guevara was raised in Orange County California by her Cuban Spanish father and Irish mother. Her love of story telling and the arts prompted her to start the school newspaper in the third grade where her first stories were published. She won Little Miss Cypress California at age 6 by wandering into the pageants arena at her local park and deciding to take the stage. As a comic she has opened for Daymon Wayans at The comedy store in L.A., she was a finalist for 'Nick at Nights' Americas funniest mom and in HBO's big stinkin international comedy festival. She has written and produced theatre in Los Angeles presented by Smashbox cosmetics and featured all over the news. Julie was a Irene Ryan nominee in college and after years raising her boys in the Midwest, she is thrilled to return back to her first love...acting.
In July of 2014 Julie was cast opposite Mischa Barton, Ving Rhames, and Luke Goss in the action thriller 'Operator'. Julie plays the co-worker and friend of the lead character Pamela played by Ms. Barton.
In June of 2014 it was announced that Julie would star as the Glamourous Celeste Celini in the action feature FORCE. Julie plays a recently widowed mob wife who after the murder of her husband and her daughter being shot, she is 'forced' to turn into a hardened killer. She stars opposite Raw Lieba (the Heat, Limitless) and the beautiful Page Oswald (as her daughter) who is an actress and a U.S. Martial Arts Champion.
Julie will next be seen guest starring in a re-occurring role on Tyler Perry's 'The Have and the Have Nots' on Oprah's network own. Also upcoming is the NBC hit show 'I'd Kill For you- The Isabelle Pedroza story" portraying Isabelle. She was also cast in USA's hit show 'Satisfaction' as the daughters beloved teacher in the Pilot episode.
