Julie Nolke
Julie Nolke is an actor, writer and the creator of her self titled comedy YouTube channel (~1 Million subscribers). She is also an award-winning filmmaker and writer. She won three Webby Awards in 2021 including Best Performance and Best Writing. In 2020 Julie was acknowledged as a Top Canadian Breakout Creator by YouTube, after her video "Explaining the Pandemic to my Past Self" went viral (~22 million views). Her short film, Are We Bad Feminists, screened at Buffer Festival (2019) where she won overall "Excellence in Writing". Other relevant festival screenings are: Toronto Sketchfest (2020), Montreal's JFL ComedyPro (2019), JFL42 (2019) and EIFF (2017) where she won Best Alberta Short. While writing, producing, editing and acting in content for the web, Julie also acts in film and TV.
