Justin Wade
Justin Wade, was born in Montreal, Canada to his French-Canadian mother, Bonnie Bernier, a makeup saleswoman and his West-Indian father, Alfie Wade Jr., a jazz musician. Justin grew up between Montreal and Harlem, New York. At 13 his mother remarried Paul Yaphe, a Jewish Lawyer. Justin completed High School in Canada. He played Triple A Hockey for Dawson College and Rugby for McGill University Elite Team. At 23, he was accepted to The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City and modeled for the Click Agency. He began studying physical therapy, while acting bit parts on Passions and As The World Turns. After booking his first national commercial he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in acting and Standup comedy. After several attempts auditioning for Mitzi Shore, he was made paid regular in 2002 at The World Famous Comedy Store as well as having his name inscribed on the wall of fame. He has performed stand-up throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. He was also a member of The Lost Nomads with Josh Gad, studied with The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. In 2011, Justin won the Santa Monica Actors Guild for Best Supporting Actor in Ray Cooney's, Run For Your Wife for his role as Bobby Franklin, the flamboyant, effeminate dress designer. Justin has been seen on Alias, Hot In Cleveland and Don't Trust The B**** in Apt. 23 as well as over 60 National Commercials. Justin is the Creator, Producer and Host of Actors Night, an open mic for Actors, Writers and Directors at The Broadwater Theatre in Los Angeles. Justin is married to Yasmin G. Wade with two children.
