Nad Abdoolakhan
Nad is a British actor of Mauritian background, he was born and raised in the southern district of Cambridgeshire. As a child his mum would take him regularly to watch pantomime's performed at the Cambridge Corn Exchange where he found interest in theatre and performing arts, at the same time he also began watching action and horror movies idolizing Jack Nicholson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes and Sir Anthony Hopkins. He began his career by training on the Kingdom School Of Arts 1 year course including a Masterclass with rapper and actor Ashley Walters. Following this, he furthered training for another 3 years at the double award-winning drama school of Identity School Of Acting in which he performed in theatre showcase each year. He was nominated in his second showcase for a Clive Daley Award by Principle Femi Oguns MBE. Even throughout his training he also got roles in short films and small roles in feature films which some have been screened at Film Festivals. He had a supporting role in 'Pandamonium' which screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2020, the film became available on Amazon Prime and that same year he landed another supporting role in 'Frenemies' which was an independent film also on Amazon Prime.
