Nadeen Lightbody
Nadeen Lightbody is a film, television and voice over actor born in Toronto, Canada to parents of Jamaican decent.
Nadeen's first role was that of Shyanne in the 2007 series, "The Kink in My Hair." She then went on to co-star on Discovery Channel's "Natural Born Dealers" where she appeared as herself. This show, classified as a documentary, also aired on Planet Green. Following Natural Born Dealers, Nadeen was featured in a short film called "Avalanche," where she played Janice, a middle-aged mother, wife and homemaker extremely concerned for her son. This short film premiered at the New Orleans Film Festival in 2014. Directed by Thyrone Tommy, the film was picked up by several other festivals including Toronto's Reelworld Film Festival in 2015.
More than a film and television actor, Nadeen is the voice behind Amphibia, a much loved sea-creature character in The Cartoon Network's "Monster Beach." Monster Beach is airing in Australia and Asia with dates soon to be announced in North America.
