Nadia Benzakour
Born and raised in Paris, Nadia Benzakour is an international French actress known for her work in Hollywood and international productions. In fact, she worked on dozens of TV shows and feature films such as the Tyrant, Deep State with Mark Strong, Killing Jesus, Open Desert, the French phenomenon Le Bureau Des Légendes, and the 2018 Cannes film festival sensation, Sofia, to name a few.
2023 will be her breakthrough as an international actress capable of playing lead roles in big-budget productions as well as in auteur films. As an example, She interprets the historical figure of Poppea in the new feature film: "Seneca, on the creation of earthquakes" directed by Robert Scwhentke and starring John Malkovich, Mary Louise Parker, Geraldine Chaplin, and Andrew Koji.
On the other hand, she shares the lead with Alexandra Lamy and Youssef Hajdi on the big-budget french adventure movie, Princes Of The Desert, by Eric Barbier ( La Promesse de l'Aube). On TV, she is expected to be the dangerously sulfurous Potiphar's wife in the Covenant, a mini-series directed by David Batty, and also the inspirational mother of Mevia in the History Channel TV show "Colosseum", directed by Roel Reine.
Nadia Benzakour is fluent in French, English, Arabic and Spanish.
Nadia Benzakour received her acting training in the United States at the prestigious Richard Lawson Studio in Los Angeles and Mary T.Bower in New York City. In France, she studied Masks and Burlesque at the eminent Jacques Lecoq School in 2018. Nadia Benzakour was also part of "Les Enfants Terribles" between 2002 and 2003, a company known for having as its members, the french superstar, Leah Seydoux. Finally, Nadia Benzakour was also part of Nicolas Liautard's Theater company, based in Paris between 2005 and 2006.
