Nancy Degnan
Nancy was born and raised in the Bay Area. Her love for the arts began at an early age while she sang and played in bands and simultaneously went to a San Francisco acting conservatory after school during her high school years. Once graduated, she moved to Los Angeles and has been working in LA and New York since.
Nancy recently booked a starring role in the pilot L.A. Stories playing "Samantha," a second-year intern at a Los Angeles hospital. She plays a supporting role in the Lifetime TV Movie The Cheerleader Murders, Directed by David Jackson (Supernatural). She also stars in a music video for the up-and-coming artist Ariano for his hit song "Fame."
She began her career in theater and has enjoyed consistent work on stage. A couple of her celebrated performances have been starring in a Los Angeles production of the comedy Spike Heels written by Theresa Rebeck as "Georgie" with the Epsilon Theater Company, and starring as "Amy" in a production of the drama Tape written by Stephen Belber.
Degnan recently Produced the feature film Buck Run starring James Le Gros (Certain Women), Kevin J. O'Connor (There Will Be Blood), Nolan Lyons (Boardwalk Empire) and Amy Hargreaves (Homeland). This is her first film as Producer and she looks forward to bringing more projects to fruition.
