Nancy Nave
Nancy Nave was born in El Paso, TX and she is the youngest of three children. She was born to a Mexican-American mother and a father from Canton, China. She attended the University of Texas at El Paso on a full-paid volleyball scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After college, she worked as an engineer and project manager for Procter & Gamble and AT&T.
Nancy Nave made her big-screen debut in the feature film Hours, which premiered at the 2013 SXSW Film Festival. The movie was directed by Eric Heisserer and starred Paul Walker, of The Fast and the Furious fame. She continued her success in other films such as The Hollars, with John Kraskinski and A Country Called Home. In addition to being featured in countless national commercials, including Jimmy Dean and KIA Motors, and many industrial videos, Nancy has appeared in several TV series, including USA's In Plain Sight, ABC Family's The Lying Game, and TNT's Dallas. She also starred in two noteworthy festival shorts, Unstalkable and Sunny Square.
Nancy started out in the corporate world, but decided to leave and start an at-home business to be closer to her three young sons. At the urging of her husband, Nancy ventured into modeling, and soon caught the acting bug after being selected as a finalist for Season 2 of the modeling reality show, She's Got the Look, by TV Land Productions.
Nancy is an energetic, busy, full-time actor, model and host. Outside of her thriving career and being an active mom to her 3 sons, she participates in charity runs such as PurpleStride, which raises awareness about the critical mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. She is also very active in her local community and schools.
Nancy teamed with her husband, screenwriter Jason Nave, to produce their first short film, Unstalkable. Nancy and Jason are excited to work together on more film projects written by Jason.
Nancy happily lives in the Los Angeles area with Jason and their three sons.
