Nate Bartoshuk
Nate Bartoshuk was born in Redwood City, California where he began acting in high school in local theatre productions. He would train with the ACT San Francisco Young Conservatory before leaving the Bay Area to pursue a BA in Theatre Arts at Pepperdine University, graduating with honors. The List called Nate a "standout" actor in the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the LA Times gave Nate a shoutout for his "good grasp of physicality and little details" while handling the challenges of performing masked during the Covid pandemic as Steve Harrington in Netflix's Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience.
Nate has also enjoyed early success and recognition for both his play and screenwriting. While studying at Pepperdine University, his first play, "Call Center" was an official selection for The Road Theatre's 10th Annual Summer Playwrights' Festival in 2018. In 2021, his first feature film, "People Live Here" received the distinction of Semifinalist from The Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, placing it in the top 1.8% of submissions out of a pool of over 8,000 screenplays.
